The aim of the Home Team Academy is to develop officers who excel not only in their chosen vocation or profession, but who are also aware of and are sensitive to the larger operating terrain at the homefront. They also understand how their work complements that of their fellow officers from different departments within the Home Team family. Such officers see collaborative action as a natural approach towards achieving a shared common mission of keeping Singapore safe and secure. Such Home Team officers make each Home Team agency both effective on its own and as part of a team.
