The Centre for Emergency Preparedness & Technical Cooperation (CEPTC) is part of the Homefront Security Division (HSD) of the Ministry of Home Affairs and is one of the specialists’ training wings which are located within the Home Team Academy. 

Vision and Mission

The vision of CEPTC is to be a Centre of Excellence in the training of homefront officers, private corporate clients and Government officers from countries in the region and beyond, in the areas of exercises planning and management, emergency preparedness, crisis management, crisis-centre operations, contingency planning, command and control structures, business continuity management and technical cooperation.

The mission of CEPTC in its quest to attain the vision is to:

• Design and undertake accordingly the training and conduct of executives training programmes in various aspects of emergency preparedness and crisis management.
• Offer professional services in the planning, development and establishment of C2 Systems, crisis management systems and their related training and instruction.
• Establish strategic alliances with renowned institutions/organisations in the fields of emergency preparedness, crisis management and business continuity management to benchmark its standard and competency.
• Strive for competency and develop the capability to facilitate technical cooperation with other countries in emergency preparedness and management.
